I haven’t cried this hard from sad and happy tears over a movie in quite a while. This really struck a cord in my heart and I loved it. It’s beautifully moving even if it is simple. Sometimes it’s nice to just get the point across direct and simple. No smoke and guns. The characters feel very relatable and show the effects of generational trauma and societal “rules” especially for women. As this was the reality of the 60’s
