I have been playing FIFA (EAFC) since the early 2000s and have always loved playing career mode, living out the dream of everyone who has ever played the beautiful game. I have spent 1000s of hours building teams across 12+ seasons on each edition of this game. So when I saw EAFC 25, I was so excited to see what this year would bring, especially with so many talented players and the addition of the Women's leagues (FINALLY). But dear lord this was BAD like REALLY BAD!!! EA you have absolutely destroyed this amazing franchise by adding such horrible overhauls to the game and absolutely abandoning what fans loved about this game. So here are the issues: 1) to start, the 10 hours early access game play did not work whatsoever, even if you purchase the EA Play. No solution and such a waste of money 2) once you do finally get into the game you quickly realize how clunky the menu is and how unresponsive the controls are to your controller or movement 3) career mode is now impossible to navigate as they flood the screen with way too many menu options and way too many useless windows that do not allow you to see when you get messages as a player or as a coach, making you lose out on sales and lose out on important information from your team. 4) once again, we have a EAFC edition that has lost out on some big teams, both on the international level and on the club level. this is a huge loss to fans, but also to the immersive rivalries that we have all come to know and love. 5) while the graphics are amazing on the pitch, they have made it too complicated to create your players in career mode by adding useless things like "scars" into the customization options while removing tattoos. This game is about futbal and yet they are trying to make it into call of duty. 6) They hyped up this game so much, driving everyone to preorder charging $70 for the preorder, only to drop it by 10% down to $62 in less than 24 hours after the game released. EA has become con-artists rather than video game artists. Overall this is a horrible game and such a disappointment. EA you have betrayed the fans by releasing a game that clearly was not up to standards and was lazily put together to make it look new. After years of playing FIFA (EAFC) I can honestly say this is the last time I will ever purchase a game from this series
