Mark Manning

Having not know DavId Epstein, I read through description on the back of the book that made it sound like a good read. It's also a Sunday Times best seller the front of the book told me so i was excited. Unfortunately, when I read it, I was deflated. The wording and descriptive stories bored me from start to finish. David obviously knows his stuff with some superb examples, and yet his way of writing numbed me. I could not get excited about any of it. This is a shame as the facts to the stories are superb. They are just written as if I am an expert on the subject which I am not. I just want to read a book, understand what is being said in laymans terms, and learn from it. I could not do this with this book.
