I am not one for leaving reviews on movies. This however needs a mention. I waited for Kanguva to be released on OTT and went into it with a clean slate wanting to give this a chance regardless of the reviews which I had skimmed through earlier. I have to concede this is one of the worst pieces of cinema I have consumed in a loooooooooooong time. The makers really need to come out of this bubble that there is some broader conspiracy against this movie. This is truly a badly made movie man. These movies need to stop riding this “world building” concept. This needs to be supplemented with vision and if there ain’t any, man you need to be honest with yourself before you invest in such concepts. These producers need to understand that besides staunch fans of a movie star or a director, the general audience goes in for a good plot, cinematography and acting. So assuming that as long as it’s some super star, you’ll be able to sell anything to the general audience is basically underestimating the collective consciousness of people. This experience was just yikes!!
