A viscerally stunning movie with gorgeous set pieces and engrossing action especially in the third act. Unbelievable motion capture work and emotion from Zoe Saldana in particular packs a punch. The score isn't as strong as the first due to the passing of the late James Horner, and the world of Pandora feels less threatening than it did in the first. Genuinely funny at times but never out of place, pay close attention to how the film starts and end and how it relates to the Way of Water.
