SNOWFALL could be real history bits or pure speculation of the CIA involvement in crack epidemic in Los Angeles but sure left a fertile ground
for more speculation on how Nicaraguan Contras got their war financed in Reagan's couloir politics. The human stories in SNOWFALL, powerfully drawn by Singleton, captivate and trigger emotion. Well-cast series: Franklin's acting falls flat at times; Carter Hudson's character is unbelievably annoying, I am sure that was meant by directors but it made me fast forward a lot how much I hated the character.
Leon, Aunt Louie and Jerome are my fave actors in the series, so easy to love. Some storylines and relationships left vague and underdeveloped. I consider myself an international audience since I grew up abroad wish I had more background on what Los Angeles was in the 80' and 90's
