soul is a cinematic masterpiece. of course, not pixar's best film, however it is FAR from the company's worst. i would say at LEAST top ten, considering this company has made quite a few winners. it's exciting, it's emotional, and it's real. regardless of the mere fiction of the story, it replicates that of journey's many go through in a lifetime. finding yourself and your purpose. though, the film is definitely a lot more mature and intellectual than most other animated features. i would even say it's directed more at adults, with children as the audience being it's second priority. regardless, it is a wonderful watch and i very much recommend it to anyone who's willing to look at life from another perspective. great job, pixar.
