Be Kind

This is a feel good romance about a small family business that stays connected in service to its community, above the need for profit. It follows the Hallmark formula of a handsome businessman planning a corporate takeover of this quaint business, unbeknownst to the people he befriends, and he falls in love with them while discovering his own voice, as he's been suppressed under the hawkish rule of his cold father. Where this film excels, besides the stunning Australian coast scenery and chemistry between the two gorgeous main characters, is the twist on gender roles. The female lead is strong, fearless, independent, sure of herself, and even curt, unlike the usual cute and clumsy, sweet female. And this male is beta to her alpha, he is sensitive and soft spoken, and follows her on her lead to rescue herself, them, and the family business. Great for an enjoyable, uplifting rom com watch, and refreshing break from all the dark apocalyptic stuff out there.

Lovely show, light hearted but heartfelt romance and drama, great chemistry between the actors, engaging and inspiring story with terrific locations and soundtracks. One of the better shows out there.

Smart and powerfully written and acted portrayal of the deadly and heart breaking problem of cop violence on black people in America. This story includes aspects of victims' stories and says thier names, and asks us to never foget.
