The sirens drive me crazy because it's the same audio every time. No acoustics, no variation. They could be driving through a tunnel and it would still sound the same. When they show the equipment under the dash, the siren is always set on radio rebroadcast, OMGosh, it wouldn't even play siren tones in this position. And sometimes the siren audio fades in when the frequency is in the falling part of the cycle. Hey, sirens don't fade in and fade out. And the PA-20 thru PA-200 sometimes had an unusual way of starting the wail cycle. They would start at the base frequency, rise slightly, then fall back to the base frequency, then begin the normal cycle. There are no other siren models that do this, but it never happens. Every single aspect of the emergency vehicle sounds are completely unrealistic. So I fast forward 30 seconds every time they leave the station, and I always will cuz it just drives me crazy. My wife says "only me". I'm the only one that would notice these things. No I think there are a few of us around. But I love all the stories, bought the whole series, and every few months I start from the beginning again. As old as the program is, they are all still incredibly good. Every single actor was a perfect pick for the part they played, and I guess I'll be watching till I die.
