A lot of harsh reviews here. I enjoyed it but didn't think it was great. Enjoyed the cinematography, the music was a bit too loud at times during the film.

Feel like I should leave a review cos there's a lot of harsh 'critics' here. It's a story about a killer who is methodical and precise. As another reviewer mentioned - it feels like you're following a real contract killer. It's not your usual full of action and unbelievable series of events like other Hollywood movies. Enjoyed the music - the character likes to listen to this music, that's why it's in the film. Other reviewers have missed the point of the music. For me it's 4 stars but close to 5 - I also don't feel it's brilliant enough for 5 stars.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The music was so tense it kept me on edge for most of the movie. I don't understand why some thought it was "boring" or "lacked character development"??? I feel like they unfortunately missed what was going on. I recently watched this again after seeing Sicario 2 which was also excellent in my opinion. It felt authentic to me, Sicario 2 felt a bit unauthentic but was also a good movie.

Enjoyed this movie. The music was so tense it kept me on edge for most of the movie, it was at times a little annoying though. I don't understand why some thought it needed to be like the first - aren't sequels either just the same as the first, which is boring, or different, which most people complain about?! I feel like they unfortunately missed what was going on. After watching this I went back to watch Sicario 1 again which I thoroughly enjoyed. I don't feel like it quite deserves 5 stars cos it felt a bit 'Hollywood-ised'. The first Sicario felt more authentic.

Really enjoyed watching this film. Nothing was over the top or sensationalised. I thought the acting was great, a well made movie

This is probably the best movie I've ever seen! I watched it when it first came out and I keep watching almost once a year since - absolutely love it! The camera angles used were amazing and there has been a lot of paradies of it on loads of shows. I think all the people who rated it less than 3 stars are too young to appreciate how good this film was when it came out in 1999.

I enjoyed this movie. I was surprised that it drew me in quite early in the film. There were some questions that went unanswered but a lot of movies do that - I think it adds a bit of mystery. It's an independent film so some will like it and others won't - I feel like all the people who think it's a 'yawn fest' don't know what they're talking about.

Really disappointed and couldn't watch till the end ☹ Thought the plot was good and some of the acting was good. The music choices were very poor in my opinion, didn't suit the different situations going on in the movie. Some of the acting was poor and kinda goofy. There are few movies I've seen that I rate this low or lower. Unfortunately, I don't agree with most reviews here - overall I thought this movie was below average and didn't really like it

I never felt engaged with this movie, I felt like it didn't flow very well. The music choices were terrible, they didn't match the scenes. The only thing I liked about the film was the facts that were displayed/mentioned. I thought it was a great idea including facts/history during the movie but was poorly executed, it felt a bit out of place. If it was included and tied-in with the scenes better then I think it could've been a great movie. Overall not terrible but definitely below par movie :-(
