Probably the most moving and powerful documentary I have ever watched. The constant bombing and the tragic scenes in the hospital; the love Waad has for Hamza and her baby Sama; the bravery and resilience show by their friends and colleagues, the immediacy of some of the shaky footage during the bombing raids; and the tension of their final escape - all these combine to give a compelling picture of life in Alleppo from the early hopeful days of the revolution to the final surrender and escape from the city.
An amazing achievement by this brave young film maker and her heroic husband.
It is a tribute to love, resilience, passion for justice and the absolute futility of war. Congratulations Channel 4.
