Good cgi but bad storytelling. The fight sequences were nice, the set looked great and so did the costumes and yet I found the storytelling to be lacking. Changing the main character from an ordinary girl to a natural born fighter was no good choice in my opinion as it made it impossible for young girls to identify with the character. Apart from that it also felt like everything that we loved from the original animation was removed in order to make room for in my opinion questionable plot choices. I am massively disappointed and will definitely not see it again
