Set design and costumes are lovely. The production seems grand, and I enjoy it. I hope they have more street scenes to give the feeling of old New York and that they develop storylines for more characters of color. Peggy is great, and I want to see more of her. I do think the actors need to slow down their speech and find nuances in their performances. They seemed like they were reciting lines for one dimensional characters in a highschool play. (Not Peggy of course!)

I'm 35 and with every episode I feel my 7 year old self loving this show. As a kid I read the books and watched the original show. I think this version is so cute, age appropriate, and we'll adapted to this generation. Also the actress playing Claudia is adorable and I love her artsy character.

Just clicked forward almost every scene. They were pointlessly slow, agonizingly boring. If this film did not star Kravitz, no one would waste their time.

Loved it. The story stands on its own (prequel or not.) I could endlessly watch Natalie Emmanuelle's acting - her voice is divine and she is just so soothing on the eye. The melange of characters and actors to play them was just perfect. Rolph? Yes! Safecracking is a fun concept and I thought the quarky sense of humor from Sebastian (his squealing, hand waving, rhetoric) was just a nice bonus.

I binged this perfectly four chaptered story over the last day. I found that the actors' riveting portrayal paired with the murder mystery plot was the perfect set up. Firstly, the actors - wow. I am enthralled with Mbatha-Raw and now I can recognize the genius of Jessica Plummer and David Oyelowo. The emotion, the facial expressions, their moments of exaggeration and subtleties were so powerful. I felt myself being pulled into their stories with each scene. And the storytelling was perfect. I enjoyed how with each detail that Jane discovers along the way, I found myself guessing at the mystery of the crime. Whomever she suspected, it seemed legit - until the very end. Well done.

I enjoy the show when I focus on the story it tells, rather than the stories they could have told. But that said, I would have enjoyed a more humorous look at ageism and what its like to navigate life in their 50s. I also wish the pacing was faster because I skip through the slow moments of Carrie sitting and brooding.

The film shows the obsurdity of mankind's stupidity in the face of survival. You'd think the human race would have the instinct to survive over making cash, but dumb-dumb runs deep in every facet of society. I get it. But it's so infuriating that watching this film becomes stressful. Each scene is one more frustrating encounter after another, and it rarely made me laugh.

I genuinely like Owen Wilson and in the past I've enjoyed a few JLo performances; but this time, however, I couldn't stomach either. Aside from the lame plotline and terrible story telling, the actors were just dead on the inside. What happened to Wilson? He gave zombie energy and his pairing with Lopez was a poor match. They had NO chemistry together. Personally, the sacreligious concert scene was unnecessary and offensive. JLo was trying to portray herself as a Madonna here, but blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is a grievance that won't be forgiven. It was tasteless. You get one life to live, and you don't want to waste it watching JLos shameless self promotion on a sleepy production.

Love the concept and the actors have a nice onscreen chemistry. They could have done so much more with this but then again, whatevs I'm really enjoying it.

I thought it was well made and that the parts of Ariel and Ursula were well acted. Ariel's singing was beautiful.
