Akshay Kumar delivers yet another good film after Baby, Airlift, Jolly LLB 2 and Padman. Director Reema Kagti takes no time in establishing the plot as the drama begins right from the first scene. The screenplay is engaging and keeps you engrossed on the screen right from the first frame till the interval. The second half pales a bit when compared to the first half due to a couple of irrelevant sub-plots, however the finale leaves the desired impact and ends the film on a high. Akshay Kumar, as always delivers a phenomenal performance and is well supported by Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vinit Singh and Sunny Kaushal. Wish the film was a little shorter, but none the less worth a watch. 4/5 Stars!

Quite surprised that no one thought of making a film on the neuclear tests that took place at #Pokhran. Its so inspiring to watch the story unfold on the big screen in #Parmanu. Director #AbhishekSharma narrates the historic event with right amount of thrill and #JohnAbraham enacts the titular character with utmost perfection. He wonderfully underplays himself in the film, and delivers one of his finest performance till date. The film had a couple of flaws in the form of a few melodramatic moments and a little streched screenplay, but none the less you leave the cinema hall with pride. Using the real life footage of former Indian PM, Atal Bihari Vajpayee is a master-stroke as the same elevates the impact of the story. #Parmanu Go For It. 3.5 / 5
