The worst show I have seen. I only watched this show because I'm a fan of Hamilton and I wanted to see Okiriete Onaodowan. This show has a political agenda. Every cop is a racist white male. The moment the show decided to shove Black Lives Matter down our faces it became all about cop bashing. If I wanted to watch a show about firefighters. I'd watch 9-1-1 Lone Star. It features firefighters, a diverse cast, and good cooperation between cops and firefighters. It keeps shoving people of color politics down our throats. As a POC with a disability, I find its message downright annoying and too realistic. Also, the love triangles are pointless, and Travis is involved in one for no reason.Andy/Jack/Robert and Jack/Andy/Maya are downright stupid plot points. Pruitt Herrera's only purpose as a main character is to drive the plot forward—sometimes literally. He has cancer, yet he won't rest, and his pride gives him a huge ego. He's too arrogant. Pruitt works best as a recurring character. His presence was not needed in every episode up until his death. Speaking of which, the way he died is downright stupid. He recklessly entered an active fire scene and essentially pirated a fire engine to save his daughter. This gave Maya Bishop a lot of trouble. If the writers wanted to kill him off by performing a heroic sacrifice. They should have had him present at the scene before the fire starts and then he can perform his heroic sacrifice by pushing his daughter out of the way. His interference led to the wrong captain being promoted when Andy was far more competent to be captain than Maya Bishop. Oh, and every character comes off as extremely obnoxious over their obsession to be captain.
