Thoroughly enjoyed Midnight Mass - even though it had a little too much of Catholic Mass praying, bible quoting and hymn singing interwoven, I do understand how this sets the scene for us getting to know the Catholic priest character who goes bad and chooses to misinterpret his faith to suit his misfortune. This in itself is fabulous, because it shines a light on how religion and the Bible can be misinterpreted to suit personal agendas and of course, has been, down through the ages.
One question: How did the Sheriff's son turn when he had not had communion or did I miss him drinking the 'wine'?
Thank you Netflix for yet again, another fantastic horror series with well-developed characters and a thought provoking script/story line.
