I remember watching this for the first time when I was 13 and I hadn’t even started smoking yet, I loved it and thought it was hilarious, for years after it would be my go to movie to watch with friends and in my early years of smoking I would put this on every other day and just get blasted. It was great. However I recently just went back and watched this movie again for the first time in almost 6 years, and if I’m being honest it’s not that great. In fact it’s pretty bad. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t enjoyable, if you are going into this expecting some Oscar worthy masterpiece then you will be severely disappointed. However if you go into this movie knowing that the whole thing feels like a badly edited YouTube skit then you will probably be able to just turn your brain off and have a few laughs, possibly even while you get high with some buddies.

This show is amazing, I can confidently say that it is my favourite show ever, it does have its flaws but you can expect that from any show. I have watched it 4 times now and even on the 4th watch through I noticed small things I’ve never noticed before, this show has such well written over the top scenarios but something about the way the characters play off of each other makes it feel realistic. The show was definitely at its peak in the first 3 seasons with the main cast and although they aren’t as good, the last three seasons still hold up but without the main cast (especially Donald Glover) it’s just doesn’t feel the same. The one big thing I didn’t really care for about the show was the character Shirley, she was very manipulative and would constantly try to force her religion on the rest of the group even going as far as to try to secretly baptize them after inviting them to a “pool party”, she did have her moments but for the most part she would always manipulate other for her own benefits and would use being a single Christian mother and her sweet personality. to get away with it.
