The book started off at an interesting arc but the writing was average and fast paced, way too fast paced. It totally skipped through all the emotions of the characters whether good or bad. There was no lasting impact of the words.
The plot was interesting, it kept up my attention till the last, it was filled with one adventure after another from Chaitanya's life. It was filled with surprising turns.
The characters were three dimensional but at certain points, they just fell flat. I think the characters and the narrative could have been greatly improved. The potential was definitely there.
Overall, it was an average read. And the author mentions in the end that the reason for writing the book is because he wanted to talk about paracracy — a system where everyone get an equal beginning — but the entire concept may sound lucrative but didn't sound very much applicable. It would have been better if more of the how was talked about in the book.
My personal suggestion would have been to write a fantasy book with a society practicing paracracy, instead of picking such a plot.
