Very authentic BUT Max either shaves or grows a beard... the unshaved look was not possible until the 1990s! Haha!

Waste of time. 80% film spent on fluff only 20% action. Tried to be clever but was disjointed.

A wee, cheap, rubbish of a film. Did not recognise ANY of the Bruce story. It was almost laughable from scene ONE. The Bruce killed Comyn in a chapel in Dumfries not in the middle of God knows where. No BIG scenes of armies of Scottish knights riding to join The Bruce. May I point you in the direction of Nigel Tranter's The Bruce Trilogy for a fairly accurate history of the rise of Bruce to become King of Scotland. If you cannot afford to make a decent film then best not to make this garbage. Even The Outlaw King was more accurate!

Series 1 was excellent. Just watched episode 1 of series 2. It was pathetic Gum chewing, got you by the balls, leather wearing detective Renton is just a cliched joke. Arresting Laura for finding Earlam's keys in her house! Hilarious! Were the keys checked for fingerprints before the murder charge? So far series 2 script is pathetically amateur. Hope it improves. Btw I will never watch Hornblower again! (Joke)

As a Brit I still loved this show,I did laugh out loud at some of the panel's comments. I also loved the fact it gave me more insight into modern Japanese life. Went to Japan 25 years ago and have loved it eversince!

OMG! I LOVE this series. The Master is excellent. Cool in all aspects and generous and caring, I love the 'regulars' Very funny. Love the way different dishes appear each programme. I have been to Tokyo once and saw lost of places like the Midnight Diner. I am HOOKED. A total fan. I have also advised my friends to watch this UNIQUE programme. THANK YOU TYHANK YOU THANK YOU

I loved the series but it was spoilt by the constant smoking of the characters. I can only assume the makers of the series had a healthy (unhealthy!) financial contribution from the Tobacco industry.
