Absolutely love love loved this film. I cannot wait for chapter 2. The power of the human spirit is beautifully portrayed. The pages of a history book could not portray these harrowing and treacherous times better. Incredible cast, believable characters, the child actors are especially wonderful and it is filmed beautifully, the landscapes are just breath taking. Plays on every emotion. Well done Kevin Costner, you never disappoint.

The best show I have ever watched. I dont have the right words to describe how brilliant this show is. In my opinion it is an outstanding masterpiece, the writing is superb, the filmography is superb, the music is superb and the cast - well I fell in love with most of them, brilliant actors that I just could not get enough of, if this was the only show on TV, I would be a happy happy camper. I wish it could run forever.

I love this show. Mike and his family truly care about others. It's so interesting and informative, I love the way he tells us the how and why of everything he does.
