Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Review: The Rise of Skywalker is a satisfying conclusion to the 9-episode Skywalker Saga. The film brings a decent story, the script is pretty good, and the surprises/reveals are excellent. If you haven't, for some reason, seen The Last Jedi, don't worry - you don't need to. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker basically ignores the events of Episode VIII. However, this film feels like a sequel to The Force Awakens. Like mentioned previously, this film doesn't feel like a follow up to The Last Jedi. This creates a problem for Episode 9, however. The first half feels like two movies that they crammed into one package. This is my main problem with The Rise of Skywalker. It felt like JJ Abrams had to do Rian Johnson's heavy-lifting, mostly story-related things that require Episode 9 to be cohesive. Overall, very good film. A general audience member could go into The Rise of Skywalker and enjoy themselves, no past Star Wars experience required! Overall Score: A-. Solid film, with a few minor nitpicks.

Knives Out is incredibly fun and exciting. The script is awesome, the overall story is very well done, and the twists keep you thinking during the film. Almost anyone can go into Knives Out and have a good time. Everything is crafted perfectly, and has a purpose. What's interesting is that we go into the film knowing nothing, but we learn each character's individual thoughts and motives as the film continues. Each story/explanation from each character is a puzzle piece. Once you hear from all the characters, you have a complete puzzle with a character at the center of it all. Overall, fantastic film. Going into this film without knowing the twists is definitely the best way to do it. This film isn't as fun knowing the twists, but regardless, it's an awesome time. Go do yourself a favor, and see this film. Overall Score: A+. A fantastic film, with little to no problems.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a fresh iteration of Spider-Man. Unlike any other film, Peter Parker isn't the lead -- it's Miles Morales. The film is visually stunning, acting is great and it's overall just a great time. This is the first time in along time that I've walked out of film just in general thinking how amazing the film was, and how much I wanted to see it once more. The film features other Spider-People from other alternate Earths, iconic Spider-Man villains and Easter Eggs for those hardcore Spider-Man fans to recognize while they're experiencing this breathtaking Spider-Man journey. Some other Spider-People that Miles interacts with are - Peter B. Parker (aka Spider-Man), Gwen Stacy (aka Spider-Gwen/Woman), Peter Porker (aka Spider-Ham), Peter Parker (Spider-Noir) and Peni Parker and SP//DR. Like I've previously mentioned, this film is visually stunning. If you couldn't tell by the trailers, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse looks like it was ripped straight from a comic-book. Sony Pictures Animation took their time on this one, literally. It took one animator a week to animate one second of the close to two hour runtime. Props to everyone who worked on this film! If you're on the fence about seeing this film, or you have and considering going to see it again, I would highly suggest you fork out the extra bit of cash to go see this once again. Don't miss seeing this one in theaters! Not to mention that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has been nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars, at the 72nd British Film Academy Awards it won Best Animated Film, it also won best Animated Film at the Golden Globes and at Best Animated Film at BAFTA. If it's won this many awards, it must be good, right? Yes, of course. Like I've already mentioned, it's amazing. Final Score: 9.5/10!
