Had my 9 year old son in tears. He’s begged me to send it to the charity shop as he never wants to see it again. My advice would be make sure a parent or guardian reads it first to gauge whether they think it would be suitable. If I’d done that & not been lured by the cute cover, my son would have never read it at all
