It feels like calm before the stuff hits the fan. This is the humanizing one because we can tell the next is going to be the utter chaos we expect from mankind.
And yes I saw the other 2, their opening nights. However, it is not required to enjoy this film, so if you are bringing someone new to the franchise, they won’t be left out, and the gatekeepers can continue to pout.

The kills were cool and the plot wasn’t bad but the dialogue and bizarre direction choices didn’t make up for it, imo. There were some points where it felt like an actor was told to just stand there and wait for the Big Bad to finish attacking them.
