As far as the gay representation goes it would've been nice to see something different done. Show don't tell and throw in our faces. For example see him get nervous around a boy n leave it like that. Just let it be a part of him. Like have the single father actually be supportive. His dad is all he has after his mom died, he should have been a bigger character. Have Chucky break that relationship up, that would've broke my heart. When he died it was like whatever (The main character felt the same way lol). Seeing how they handled those two issues very poorly lets me know how this is going to go. The characters aren't really likeable. I feel no connection and don't feel anything for them and I downright hate the white girl (I know she's a bully but atleast be a fun one). I love the old design of the Chucky doll. I always loved the design of the original trilogy and it captures that design. I just wished it looked more like a twisted and ugly, middle aged man when he talked like in the original trilogy. It just seems like a watch it just for something to watch for now. It's alright
