What a wonderful movie made even more incredible by a soundtrack that keeps the viewer on emotional edge. Daniel Day-Lewis' bravery and simple love for fellow man makes for a great heartbeat to this saga of love, war, vengeance and death. Wes Studi plays Magua so convincingly that we truly enjoy his bludgeoning at the end. I have seen it more than 20 times and never get tired of its beauty.

It doesn't get much better than this. Tom Hanks' masterpiece. It takes us on an unforgettable ride through a nostalgic paradise filled with love, heartbreak, loss and hope. This epic display of all of lifes' marvels could not be portrayed more brilliantly than by using a man who doesn't quite know the depth of his greatness. We fall in love with his character and story and only wish there was more story to tell when the feather falls at the end.

At the most crucial times in the movie, the authorities are somehow one step ahead as if they are actually reading the script before the upcoming scene. This illogical and nonsensical plot disruption is unforgivable. Thus, the film is unbelievable, far fetched, dull and ultimately forgettable. Let me do you a favor and tell you to go grocery shopping or target shooting instead.
