I cannot even explain how much I hated this. Boring, predictable plot; terrible animation; and I lost count of how many ham-fisted reused quotes and scenes were squashed into it ("And Rohan will answer!" "You may wear a crown upon your head, but that does not make you a king." And of course, the king's nephew being banished for speaking sense into a war situation, only to show up at the end with his own army to save the day.). There is absolutely nothing original in this movie whatsoever, and it's a disgrace to the world of Middle Earth.

I liked the idea of it, but the execution was a let down. The biggest disappointment was that a major event was used as a comical joke, and it just detracted from the message it was trying to send.

Frankly, it comes across as if written by a twelve-year-old. There was not plot, and aside from a whole lot of snakes on a plane, there was pretty much nothing else in this movie at all.
