Yes, its a erotic movie, which elevates from lust to love (If you dont like watching erotica then dont watch it).
And for portraying any book in a movie is hard enough task. While cramming 800 pages into 2-3 hrs many details miss out. If the man overcoming his obstacles, sacrificing compulsions for the girl he loves is not love then i dont understand what is the perception of LOVE of nay sayers. Make a beautiful life
