I agree that the characters Mary, Flo, and Trudy make the show. They look great in their period style costumes, but WHY does "Frankie" wear clothes of the 2020's not the 1920's.? I fully expect her to pull a cell phone out of her skinny jeans in order to solve the case.

I like the show, but it would appeal more strongly to a younger generation than me. I wanted to check it out because of Meegwun Fairbrother who impressed me in his role as the beleaguered Police Chief in Burden of Truth.
