Great movie, worth a watch Have you ever wondered, what would it be like if JJ Abrams directed ET? No? Well too bad, because he did it anyways! The plot is not original, but it is a great movie nonetheless. Great cast, effects, and script. Loved it when it came out, and loved it 13 years later when I rewatched it.

I'm giving 5 stars instead of 4 (honest answer) because so many people are downplaying this show. The one thing I hated was that stupid whip lightsaber thing. That was dumb. Other than that, I get it. It "messes" with cannon. But not really. If you think about it, everything that happens in the show is still possible given what else is cannon. I'll explain later. The writing of this show is solid. Good dialogue, great story line, and excellent fight scenes. The lightsaber battles were top notch. Characters, and character development, were both solid given the run time of the show. Honestly, better than ep. 1-3 Now to be the contrarian, Spoilers ahead- The reason this show doesn't mess with what is cannon, is that everything in this show was "on the dl" so to speak. There is a scene during the meeting of the Jedi where they even mention that they want to hide this to avoid controversy. So it's not unfathomable that no other Jedi would know that this sith existed. Everything else is well known. Jedi tried to basically genocide the witch covens. That is Lucas era cannon. Overall, great show. Happy to have more star wars. 7 or 8/10. And anyone who wants to argue that this show was trash can debate me. I've read more star wars cannon than I care to admit.

This movie was an excellent depiction of people with intellectual disabilities in my opinion. Showing the characters for what they are, adults who live normal freaking lives, was a great representation. Every bad review that I have read is all about, "they shouldn't be portrayed using language like that," but that is one of the most harmful outlooks I have heard in my experience working within the disability community. They're adults. They can be independent. They can have their own lives. And yes, they can have sex and swear. Quit babying them and enjoy a movie full of actually inspirational people with some great story writing and a few decent actors.

This movie was excellent. People are getting so fired up about the most minor things. A character is gay (which only consumes about 2 total minutes of the movie), there is an interracial couple, and a harmonious multi-race society. Boohoo. The story was original, the animation was beautiful (although somewhat Avatar like) and the characters had actual development. I love this movie. Somewhat of a modern Atlantis or Treasure Planet type sci-fi. Worth a watch Also, I challenge you to find one person who gave this movie 1 star that isn't directly hating on it for "wokeness" or implying that kids shouldn't be exposed to "that kind of thing". There is no woke agenda here. If you ask me, this is a perfect example of how we should expose people to things they may be unfamiliar with.

Excellent movie for what it was. It was creepy and eerie and it accomplished what it set out to. I think it's one of tim Burtons finest (even though he was only a producer)

Idk what people didn't like about this movie. This was a heartfelt, uplifting movie full of that classic Taika Watiti humor. I loved this movie. Definitely worth the watch when you are looking for a lighthearted comedy.

I really didn’t like the show the first time I watched it because it goes totally off the rails by season 3 and just turns straight weird. It’s also nothing like the book at all. But I just finished watching it again and I’ll say that the first season and a half carry the show well enough to make the ending passable, and the characters are pretty solid, even if their individual stories aren’t all that great. It definitely goes down hill in my opinion, but it’s still a decent enough show to spend your time on.

I though this show was great. It feels a little off tempo at times, but I thought they did a great job doing justice to the book, while still changing just enough to keep it mysterious and unpredictable (think, early seasons walking dead). Their depiction of New Vegas was chillingly accurate and conjures images of a modern Soddam and Gamorrah. Alexander Skarsgård delivers a stellar performance as Randall Flagg. All around an excellent show in my opinion.
