i don’t think it was too bad. the acting wasn’t good at points and the story was weak. but other than that the visuals where great, the Ryuk design was good and the deaths were brutal. while it doesn’t live up to the suspense or the thrill of the anime, it does a decent job of displaying the characters and whole purpose of the death note.

they have to do a second season. this show is incredible
