Best romantic comedy series I’ve seen. Just perfect romance, and the correct balance between comedy and seriousness. Superb performances from the entire cast make you love an aspect each character, despite their major differences. Incredible chemistry between Ayşe (played by Burcu Özberk) and Kerem (Çağlar Ertuğrul). The storyline is original and unique. I normally never liked romantic comedy series but Afili Aşk was phenomenal and it changed my mind. This series and the cast will always remain dear to me and AyKer will always have a special place in my heart.

After director Cevdet Mercan and head screenwriter Sırma Yanık left, the series plot turned into absolute nonsense. The character’s were completely different from the development they had in previous episodes, the focus shifted from the male lead (Cenk) to Nedim, Cemre suddenly stops loving Cenk and starts to chase after Nedim again, who brought her so much suffering and wanted revenge on both Cemre and Cenk. The writers don’t know the meaning of love. This could’ve been a beautiful story with a happy ending for Cenk And Cemre, who already suffered so much and helped in each other in their darkest times. Instead Cemre suddenly confesses a nonsense and last minute love to Nedim. Cenk was killed after all his suffering since he was a child, and he could not reach his only want; raising his son and watching him grow.
