The book was very insight showing the struggles families face with a child on the spectrum. Also, how they deal with the day-to-day. The author uses humor to get the message across and compares her childhood experiences, knowing her child may never have these experiences, it's heartbreaking. I have a grandson on the spectrum and I know the reality of the struggles and the challenges my own daughter faces. It's very enjoyable to read and highly recommended.
