The movie opened to amazing cinematography and improved makeup. There was clarity in dialogue delivery, and crisp scenes kept it moving at timed precision. But, slowly, Kalki's Ponniyan Selvan morphed into Maniratnam's version. The climax was quite disappointing - I don't see justice to Kalki here. Maniratnam Sir corrected all the flaws of PS1 but could have avoided changing the storyline. It's a must-watch for all Tamilians.

It's an experiment which deserves appreciation for sheer effort! A must watch,once at least, for movie buffs.

A total Rajini mass film after a long time. If you don't pry too much into logic and sequencing, you could actual enjoy this movie. I did, though I'm not a Rajini fan!

Haven't watched anything more boring, nothing to justify the emotionless mess. Waste of two wonderful actors. Jolie must have been out of her mind to produce this.
