I guess this movie is poorly executed, it has potentials but there are so many holes and fail to fully develop its characters. For example, why Alma and Julian have tension? family matters or else? i don't know really, and Julian has a terrible ending tho, what makes Jess seems insecure all the time ? no background story for all characters, who is joey ? is marriage really that bad for Alma so she had a thought to meet somebody else ?, I meant why a father leaves his own daughter for something uncertain, and so many things that you feel unanswered tho, the story is original but there is no backup or concrete explanation for it, don't they usually have a science department to consult on this matter ?, it seems like someone who just like science and make their own assumptions about all these things happen on the movie.
