Until I read "Hurrah for Liberty" the history of the Irish and Scots who came to America in the 1700's was completely unknown to me as was their remarkable contributions to the making of America during the war of 1812. The book is well crafted, with interesting and unique characters cast in exciting yet realistic situations that kept me from wanting to put the book down. A great read, entertaining, informative and exciting. I'm hoping this is book one of a series which I will be eagerly looking forward to.
