Hmm, was good, felt a bit rushed at parts, could've worked on the cinematography a bit more and maybe how the story was developed, there wasn't really any attachment to the characters, in most of his other films thats prevalent - I think I'm reviewing this compared to his other films and not necessarily films in general - thinking about it I wouldn't watch again of my own volition
Edit : Above is my lazy review, reading other reviews I think I'm guilty of what Nolan has done in the film.
I think there's a lot of argument here today that the film is full of nuance, and intuige, 'suspense' is thrown around a lot.yes it has all of those things - but what the point if you don't care about the characters? - films nowadays are straying away from character development as there is so much more to pack in - bit in a film like this where it's so fast and so unexplainable I feel like there is little to tether you to the action and excitement, you can't stop and enjoy the world created for too long and the main characters quest to work out what's going on becomes your quest too - I've seen others say that people don't understand it ; Nolan said himself ,"we should feel it and not understand it" but in the film the protagonist is searching for understanding so in terms of rewatch ability it's not up there for me -
I think the story outside of the sections of time travel was actually pretty weak and characters borderline monotone throughout - worth a watch but have to agree with others farrrr from his best work
