I think The National needs to review its content and the overall attitude of 'doom and gloom' promoted via content, tone of voice, and negativity. I have been watching throughout the pandemic, like others, likely watching more news than usual, and I have stopped watching The National on a regular basis, because it doesn't portray hope or anything outside of COVID and nightmare issues (Adrienne Arsenault's very words -- 'what a nightmare' regarding coverage of one recent issue). It's almost as if Arsenault looks for the doom and gloom in every story she covers.
