In my mind the greatest Grunge Album ever made and I believe it may be the best Rock Album as well. Every song is a Banger! The first four tracks on the album are Legendary! The whole album is an experience you have to feel and hear for yourself in its entirety! Rusty Cage is so unique with its time signatures and double riffs! Amazing writing! Outshined was the first single and the reason I bought this album back when it came out in the fall of 1991. Once I was listened to the whole album and digested it mentally and in my soul. I realized this one is not even in the top 5 best songs on this album. Slaves and Bulldozers- a masterpiece of groove and metal riffs being smashed over your head in a manner like no other song. Jesus Christ Pose- the controversial but amazingly composed storm of riffs and catchy beats, the bands way of saying how the pose has been and continues to be exploited by wannabes and posers! Searching with My Good Eye Closed= psychedelic goodness with a classic and insane intro! Room a Thousand Years Wide- such an original massive crunchy riff with those haunting vocals delivered only the way the late great Chris Cornell could do it. This album only gets better with time and each listen.
