My 9 year old daughter and I really enjoyed the movie. Though the story may not be the most original, it's still was very entertaining. I though it was funny that the dog cursed, though it was all bleeped. It seemed very appropriate coming from that dog. It would have been good to get more back story and character development. But can only do so much in a kids movie in 1hr 45mins. The movie is not a copy of Big Hero 6, but maybe people were all thinking The Iron Giant. Kid befriends giant robot/monster together they fight the bad guy. I think the movie is definatly worth a watch.
