I read the book Two Kisses for Maddy and loved it. I thought the movie would be more reflective of the book so that was a little disappointing. But Kevin Hart did a great job showing his serious side of acting as well as injecting humor into everyday "Dad" situations. The role of Alfre Woodward as the mother-in-law was great. She was a woman worried about her new granddaughter being raised by Matt (Kevin) as a single father but having the insight to let him find his way with baby Maddy but always there for him should he need Grandma. The young girl that portrayed Maddy was awesome, talented and beautiful. I would recommend this movie for Fathers Day. Dads should sit down and watch with their daughters - the movie shows the beautiful and the emotional sides that comes with Fatherhood as well as the reality of being a single parent. And being a "girl dad".
