It is an amazing teaching aid. It requires a teacher or parent to walk the student to the workbook. Roughly every two pages introduce: a phonetic concept, offers pronunciation practice, and a spelling test.
It does an amazing job of getting kids and teens that are reading below grade level up to grade level. I reviewed Pat's data. Every student advanced 1 to 4 years in less than 16 hours. The average advancement was two years.
It is an excellent program. I recommend it for any parent that wants to ensure their child has mastered the basics.
