Like others I thought the trailer looked good but it took me about four attempts to see it all the way through as it was sooo boring. I love Idris, not really a fan of Tilda and this movie reinforced that. The scene with Mutafa's brother answering the door was absolutely disgusting and still turns my stomach thinking about it. Should have stopped watching before that point. Did like the sets and props though, particularly the tents, rugs and glass bottles. Definitely would not recommend it.

Would have given no stars if I could. Absolutely horrible theme about a gang rape 30 years earlier and while not all the men raped the victim they videoed it and stood by and let it happen. She didn’t say no but she was unconscious!!! The rapists being stoned, drunk or whatever, no excuse. Horrible horrible treatment of the subject that is trying to get you to feel sympathy for the rapists!!!! The wrap up should have impressed upon the viewers what a criminal act this was.

The series was okay as it bought back a lot of memories of the time when I was in my mid to late teens. The last two episodes completely spoilt it for me though particularly The Year of the Rat. It was disgusting and totally fanciful. Liddy was supposed to have overcome his fear of rats as a child by eating part of one (according to him). Why the writers had to make such an utterly disgusting episode that was not factual around this topic is beyond me. Then to have the final scenes with him petting these disgusting rodents was just horrible. Hated it and made me reassess and think what a corny interpretation of the whole story. Nixon doing a big elongated fart getting out of bed in the last episode added nothing but distaste to the whole second rate series. And as for Sean Penn playing Miller, I just kept looking for the edge of the obviously fake head covering. Would not recommend it at all.

O dear...was hoping for so much more. Denzel and Frances just did not do it for me. No intonation...just like they were spewing out in a very monotone and flat way rehearsed lines that were very hard to remember. Had a laugh to myself as McDormand and Washington doing Macbeth reminded me in a way of Costner doing Robin Hood! Not that many movies I have felt like walking out of but this was one of them. BORING!

WARNING SPOILERS Started out good but too over the top and convoluted and too many coincidences and some pretty bad acting. Oh and in the end, one of the friends gets away with two murders, two get back together because she (who cannot act for peanuts) has always loved him (who also can’t act) since they were about thirteen and is happy to wreck her marriage and give up her only daughter in the process and why didn’t the mother of the missing child suspect who actually may have had him in the first place. Oh and look who just happens to be working together in the same police station and their dad’s are in the same nursing home. AND how come some weird coincidence finally led to how the DNA was at the murder scene (shame on the forensics department that they never thought of this). Oh and the “dad” is happy to forgive all so simply after years of anguish and accusations. Oh and the lawyer just happens to be dating the wife of the father of .... here I get so confused ... and so on and so on....so many intertwining coincidences made it unbelievable. The Bold and the Beautiful visits Britain in the who is snogging who regard... The noises in the background when the flashbacks or heated moments were happening made me think my new hearing aids were playing up.

One of the worst acted and scripted movies I have ever seen. Really felt like it was a couple of hours I'll never get back and almost left half way through thinking can this get any worse! I think it was trying to be another Love Actually but it was just trying. Diane Keaton did the worst job ever of portraying a blind person and Jeremy Irons character was so wishy washy. Who in the real world would work for someone so horrible. The movie was contrived and silly in my opinion.

Don’t waste your money...one of the worst movies I have ever seen...are we supposed to laugh every time she screams something out madly like a spoilt brat...once was enough. O and how many times do we have to be exposed to the “c” bomb! It didn’t show strong women to me at all...rather women continually being degraded and degrading themselves. So disappointing as the three female leads usually play roles of much more substance and purpose particularlyEmma in The Help and Olivia in The Night Manager. Two hours totally wasted!
