This Predator adaptation was phenomenal! It seems that the franchise has struggled to gain new viewers but this one is definitely a must see! I love how they bring it full circle with a small victory but as true fans know they all end up dying at the hands of the aliens. Not sure if this was great writing or someone trying to blame the aliens for killing off most of the indigenous race instead of the colonizers. Either way I really loved the historical representation and the strength of a female lead!

I love this movie more than the first and more than the books! Which is surprising, because I’m always more in love with the pages because I feel like I’m walking alongside the characters. However, this movie had some moments of pure comedy and truly tear jerking. I’d love to give it a 5/5 but the hair people really let me down. All these videos out there of how to pluck and install wigs and you do that to Joey?! I say hire a hair guru who slays the lace fronts and I’ll be happy!
