As someone who did NOT follow the actual Anna's story and was introduced to this entire fiasco by Netflix, I was thoroughly impressed and entertained by the series.
It's intriguing, it's captivating, it makes you wonder and it shows the ugly, and dare I say dumb, side of the elites and the dirty-rich.
I wasn't fond of Anna's accent or her almost robotic lack of emotional quotient, but upon watching several interviews later, I realized Garner had done an excellent job portraying Anna. Perhaps being so incredibly smart came with its own curse for Anna.
Also, the interviews of her "friends" also evinced that Rhymes has made a very good series, almost perfectly commensurate with the real life events.
People are complaining that we never got to see the real Anna - but maybe this is all there was to her? A brilliant sociopath who was a true blood hustler with not a dime to her emotions.
