Truly. Truly awful. And really disappointing because the whole family was looking forward to the series. Unfortunately I had predicted what the end result would be. Nothing like the original book and with gender emphasis changed. Won me a fiver but the BBC is totally knackered and only interesting in social engineering. Lasted two episodes because everyone had switched off. This was do dull!! What a pity.
