If you want or need to have an understanding of how the Jehovah's Witness cult works, this book is a must read. It is written in a heartfelt manner rather than an expose, and it has helped me to help my son as he was leaving this cult. It's easy to say that the members of Jehovah's Witnesses should just leave, but these people are truly brainwashed in to believing that their very lives depend on staying in. LLoyd Evans gives a lot of helpful insight as to how someone can become brainwashed, as well as important tips for helping someone awaken to that fact. It would also be a good book for Witnesses to read because he was one for many years and he lays out the belief system honestly. I think he put his heart and soul into this book, and I'm so grateful to him for all the time he puts in to his activism work.
