This movie was just so weird. What has happened to children's entertainment. It has simply gone down the drain. First of all, there was so much murder?? What child likes murder!? Also the poorly executed race allegory just was not working. Finally Samuel L. Jackson's character's drinking problem just felt so out of place. Hank accusing him of ignoring his problems through alcohol had me GAGGED in the theater. Don't waste your time or money with this one folks, even on $5 Tuesday😔
