Masterchef India 2019-20 is the worst Indian edition ever. Contestants are pathetic or maybe they're being forced to cook things that they're completely unfamiliar with. Judges are grumpy and discouraging. The focus is only on presentation not on taste and practicability. While Indian cuisine is being celebrated across the world for its simplicity and flavours, here the judges want everything to be foreign like. So contestants end up making dishes that no sane person is going to eat or any restaurant is going to feature. In 11 episodes so far I didn't have the desire to even find out what the recipe of any of the dishes were. Not even one dish that you would try out in your home. Grow up masterchef India and focus on Indian cuisine.
