This is a great album! I snuck out at night and went down to south Chicago to hear these musicians when in high school. It was an amazing experience. I was so appreciative of John Coltrane I wanted to do something for him, and baked him cookies. So appreciative of this music

The best book I’ve read in a long time. I lived in India for several years and he captures Indian English language perfectly as well as many aspects of the culture. It is a beautiful and thoughtful portrayal of the positive and negative aspects of a deep cross cultural experience—-a long book, but I read it twice…

A. Beautiful and sad story that left me with conflicting emotions. The movie develops the idea of a human becoming close friends and communicating with an octopus. As the octopus is killed by a shark, the man stands by and films it objectively so as not to upset nature. And yet he has already upset nature by pursuing the friendship , encouraging interactions. This is not consistent with being a “ friend” and it seems rather that he was exploiting the octopus.

This is a great play. Many people wrote about what a great book it was to read, but I do not think it can be fully appreciated until a person see’s it performed. Shakespeare wrote it to be performed and seeing the depth of the play through the words and actions of the actors is an unforgettable experience. I recommend seeing the performance and then reading the book many times…..
