Very disappointed in Tuesday’s education segment. Don’t appear to have done any in-depth research such as knowing ‘discovery’ math was first introduced by PCs under Ernie Eves. Need an interviewer to hold minister to account and not let him avoid questions by spouting their talking points. If all teachers must pass math exam or lose their job does that mean the music teacher directing the award winning orchestra is out if he can’t pass the math. The minister didn’t really answer any of Steve Paikin’s questions. He’s a wonderful host but not one of the two or three no nonsense interviewers that exist on television.
